The next city vote
Official Rules
Effective [start date]. No purchase necessary. A purchase will not increase your chances of winning.
1. Sponsor
The next city vote and the giveaway that goes with it (the “Promotion”) are sponsored by [Dry Water Inc. d/b/a NoTip, sponsor street address, city, state ZIP] (“NoTip,” “we,” “us”).
2. Promotion period
The Promotion begins [start date and time, ET] and ends [end date and time, ET] (the “Promotion Period”). NoTip’s clock is the official clock.
3. Eligibility
Open to legal residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Void where prohibited. Employees, contractors and officers of NoTip and its affiliates, and members of their households, are not eligible.
4. How to enter
Vote at notip.delivery or notip.delivery/vote during the Promotion Period: give your name, email and city — or, through a NoTip link or QR code for your city, your name and email — and agree to these rules, which includes confirming that you are 18 or older. Your vote counts on the board as soon as you send it. To enter the drawing, confirm your email by tapping the link we send and add your birthday. One vote per person; bonus votes earned on the page (confirming your email, adding your mobile number, adding your birthday, sharing, following NoTip on Facebook, Instagram or TikTok, getting the NoTip app, finishing your account, mapping your delivery path, bringing a neighbor) move your city up the board but do not change your odds in the drawing — every voter in the winning city who has confirmed their email and added a birthday showing they are 18 or older is one entry. Entries by automated means, or under a false identity, are void.
5. How a city wins
The winning city is the city NoTip launches in next. NoTip chooses it in its sole discretion, informed by the vote, and announces it on the vote page and by email to the people who voted for it, on or about [announcement date].
6. Winner selection and notification
Within 14 days of the announcement, NoTip will draw one potential winner at random from the voters of the winning city who have confirmed their email and whose birthday on file shows they are 18 or older. The potential winner will be notified by email and/or phone at the details given with the vote and must claim the prize within 7 days of notification; otherwise an alternate will be drawn. NoTip may require an affidavit of eligibility and a release before awarding the prize.
7. Prize
One (1) prize: [a gift from Noah the NoTip robot — description; approximate retail value (ARV) $__]. No cash substitution, transfer or exchange, except that NoTip may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the stated prize becomes unavailable. Taxes, if any, are the winner’s responsibility.
8. Odds
Odds of winning depend on the number of voters in the winning city who have confirmed their email.
9. Publicity
By voting, you agree that NoTip may show your first name, last initial and city on the vote page’s live feed and in announcements about the Promotion, and that the winner’s first name, last initial and city may be published, without further compensation, except where prohibited by law.
10. Release
This Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Meta Platforms, Inc. (Facebook), Nextdoor, X Corp., WhatsApp or any other platform on which it may be shared. By participating you release those companies from any liability connected with the Promotion.
11. Privacy
The details you give with your vote are handled as described in the Privacy Policy. As the consent on the vote page says, your name, email, city and ZIP are shared with NoTip’s partners in your city — restaurants, shops and local businesses working with NoTip to launch there — who may contact you about the launch and their offers. Your phone number is never shared with them.
12. General conditions
NoTip may cancel, suspend or modify the Promotion if fraud, technical failure or any other cause beyond its control impairs its integrity. NoTip’s decisions are final. All federal, state and local laws apply. These rules and any dispute arising from the Promotion are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, and any such dispute shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Ohio.
13. Winner list
To learn the winner’s first name, last initial and city, email hello@notip.delivery with the subject “Next city vote winner” within 60 days of the drawing.
